isn't it strange, how you can feel a little sad, a little accomplished and a little excited - all at the same time? that's how it is for me when i finish one of those 110 load laundry detergent (liqiud, of course) containers. i feel sad (i was thinking that i could say something like, i die a little each time, but that's just being dramatic! where was i? oh yeah,) i feel sad that i have actually finished one - 110 loads. 110 LOADS! i've washed roughly 440 loads of laundry since i have been in texas. (i know because i save the little plastic cups that comes with them - i always seem to loose them, so now i save them.) i also feel like i have accomplished something in its own small way. the laundry is clean. it usually gets folded. it sometimes gets put away (thankfully i have that spare room and a spare bed). then i feel excited! i get to go to costco and buy another one of those containers! oh the shoppping i can do!! trash bags, bathroom cleaner, olive oil (oh the olive oil, i forgot the olive oil!) ground beef, chicken (the freezer will be full again!) toothpaste and soap!
i love laundry! I LOVE LAUNDRY!!

You crack me up...
You could say, "I dye everytime." hahaha!
When I started reading your post, I thought it was going to be about your family, missing them etc..., but wow 110 loads of laundry! :D
You crack me up too Jamie.. I never thought of counting how many louds of laundry I have done over the years....I wonder how many??? That is so totally funny. Such small things that make you happy. Love ya, Mom
May I send you mine???
did you count the loads i did when i was there? or should you subtract those from the loads you think you did? :)
i know i bought a few smaller sized detergents at target, so i know i am missing a few loads in there. so we can count those as the ones you did! haha
If you LOVE laundry...please, please, fly back to Cali to do mine!!! I can't even imagine I'm complaining...I just have one little one and you have 3!! Jo is always talking about her neverending laundry...THAT I am not envious of. ~ Kin
You are hallarious! I laughed out loud...you totally captured the thoughts that go through my head when I finish one of those laundry containers...maybe we should replace "I love laundry" with "I love getting to spend money at Costco"!! :)
Missing you...
