we had a good lunch today. the kids were happy, which makes me happy. they had bean burritos (a fav for jay) and root beer (another of jay's fav). during lunch grace asked me for one of her "doo-da-do-da-doo-dora" cups for her drink. jay asked for 'one of those things that won't stain, you know the square thing' for his drink (a coaster). norah just threw her food around and laughed. i ate a chicken caesar salad with a few drops of that tapatio picante salsa (mmm it was good). then i heard grace stirring her drink with her pink-one straw in her doo-da-do-da-doo-dora cup saying to herself 'mommy likes soda' (uh-yeah i do!) and then she said 'i like mommy'. it was a good lunch.
on a side note... i hate the tooth fairy. she forgot to come again last night. that makes 2 times! do we get to vote for the tooth fairy? cause i think she should be yanked from her position. or resign. or maybe she did and that's what is going on.
my kid thinks (all on his own, btw):
- he got up in the middle of the night and went to sleep on the couch, that's why she didn't come and
- maybe she needs to go to the bank and get some money cause he has lost a lot of teeth lately
really, what does this get you? one day he is gonna know the truth and i think we are gonna have a lot of 'splainin to do.

I like bean burritos too! Have you ever made them with black beans? Yummy!
I think the tooth fairy was out shopping last night and that's why she didn't have any money. :D Maybe the tooth fairy can just make it up the next time he loses a tooth.
I like bean burritos with just beans, sour cream and salsa. Toothfairy, etc. will all pass all to quickly and you will wish she could come back. love ya, mom

Maybe she got her kids mixed up, and she went to someone elses house.. I think she owes him big time and he should up the ante for his next few teeth :)
