norah is really (i mean, REALLY!) good at 'pretend sleeping'. she can hold her eyes closed without blinking, without moving her eyeballs, zip, zilch, nada. she has gotten me to get her out of her carseat more than once and carry her inside.
tonight, we were on our way home from pizza and there she was, pretending again. adam called to her, Norah... Norah... wake up...
nothing.
then i tried, Norah, are you awake?
nothing.
then jayden tried, Norah, do you want some ice cream?
nothin--- oh wait! what was that?
with her eyes closed, she says, yeessss.
we all laughed!
then she says sweetly, i tricked you!
