Computer Junkie

Jayden is definitely a Computer Junkie. He loves checking out the latest and greatest movies on YouTube - mostly Titanic related, but some are the old school Star Wars & even Thomas the Tank Engine has made an appearance in the last few days. He plays Lego-something or other. And now, he has access to email through their school. He's allowed to email the other students and their teacher. Just today, his teacher emailed him about a homework assignment.
Jay is also a computer HOG! He is always on it - we limit his time on it, and he takes advantage of that time. In fact, it's the best thing to use as a form of punishment these days. Just take it away for an hour and see how it hurts...
Now that Grace is beginning to understand how to use the computer by herself, she is 'the competition' for Jayden. Every, single day, it's a race to the computer. I pick the kids up from school, we pull into the garage, and they're off!! I usually haven't even put the car in park. It usually ends in tears and screams of defeat (from Grace) and I hear her complain for 30 minutes, until it is her turn.
