a few things on norah...

me: what's your name?
norah: i nowah
me: how old are you?
norah: i nowah
me: but how old are you?
norah: twoooooo (holding up 5 fingers)
me: and what's your name?
norah: five
me: but who are you?
norah: five
me: but who are you? what's your name?
norah: I NOOOOOWWWAAHH!! (sing-song-y)
me: ok. just making sure.

i have been potty training norah these last few weeks. she's done such an awesome job! whenever she gets done, i always say, Good job! and she replies, Thank you much.
she's had 3 accidents since last thursday, and let me say, they are pretty funny ones. like, on sunday, i was outside doing some yard work and adam was inside working very hard, either that or he was playing a video game. she told him two times she needed to go potty, and after that she just couldn't wait anymore. then on monday, right after i got done telling jennifer how great norah is doing, she had 2 accidents, one right after the other. i couldn't figure out what was going on! there wasn't any evidence left anywhere, just wet clothes. finally, i caught her going into the bathroom by herself climbing up on the toilet and going to the bathroom. she just forgot to pull down her pants.
like i said, pretty funny accidents.

there's been a lot of reinforcement words used lately. You're a big girl! No more diapers, you're a big girl now. and cute phrases like, how'd you get to be such a big girl?
sooo, today it happened. as you can imagine... i heard her tell her sister, i not a baby! i a big girl!
indeed.

now, how do i get rid of the ding-dang bottle? anyone want to take on that job? just send her back when you've broken her of it.
i think when i get back from my girls weekend, i am going to do it. just throw them all away. and say, ENOUGH! or maybe she will have it when she's 30. at this rate...

Funny stuff.
You can try to bribe Noowwwah. Tell her when she doesn't need the bottle any more she can have GRACE's bed. Then move grace up to a bigger one.

Put something yucky tasting on the bottle and maybe that will turn her off.
