our home group got together today (sat, nov 1) to sell lemonade. all the money (a whopping $85!) went to the red cross for hurricane ike victims. it was such a great way to teach the kids about helping others, helping our community and it's a lot of work to have a lemonade stand! one little boy, age 5, was shouting at cars, LEMONADE! 75 CENTS! YOU'LL LIVE FOREVER! IT'S NOT POISONOUS! yeah... too funny.
