As many of you know, the 4th grade was a bit tough for Jayden.
After months of working with teachers, principals, and counselors, we are so glad to say that the year ended on a high note.
Jayden received 6 awards this year, we are so proud of him!

Jayden is sweet and sensitive, and he also knows what he wants and isn't afraid to let you (or anyone else!) know what that is. During the school year, one of my prayers for him was to figure all of the bad stuff out without squelching the things that make him Jayden. I am so thankful for the positive things the year brought. He and I talk a lot more. About everything. It opened a door for real conversations.
I hope this is a foundation for the years ahead and the life ahead.

Congratulations to Jayden on his awards! He's a big 5th grader now! I taught 4th grade for 2 years and there is a lot that they are expected to know, especially the TAKS Writing test!
