Adam's 36th

Adam turned 36 at the beginning of the month.  

I know I've said before how proud I am of Adam - he works so hard to provide well for us.  

He is really good at what he does, and he does it with integrity.  

I remember, at one point in our marriage, his need to be successful was so strong.  In the world's eyes, he is.  In my eyes, the success is in our family and the love he gives us.  

The kids were so excited to participate and want to celebrate their dad.  

I secretly think they really like the cake we get to eat!

This year I made a chocolate cake with buttercream and marshmallow fluff frosting.  

I sprinkled in some graham cracker crumbs and topped it with some Hershey's chocolate bar.  

I called it:

I Want S'More Cake!

 Grace is blocking her breath from blowing out the candles :)

oh dear, I should have cropped the dirty dishes out of this picture...

but the kids all loving on daddy was too cute not to post!
