Day #3 & #4 - Anguilla 2011

Day #3, started a little different. Adam had an early tee time and I scheduled a massage while he was away. My first ever massage. Your probably thinking I'm crazy for never having had one before. But if you know me at all, you'll know I'm very ticklish. The thought of having a massage was more like torture... But, I'd been feeling pretty exhausted and stressed with this job I have and suddenly, a massage was appealing.

This was my view and soundtrack while having the massage.
I feel more relaxed just thinking about it!

This is Adam with some of his golf partners,
Dellanno and Jeremie - both from the Dallas Logix office.

And just that fast, the 3rd day was over - here some of us are, trying to get some service from one of the restaurants (and not succeeding very well, either!).
While we waited (and waited, and waited) we sang a lovely version of "Happy Birthday" to our friend, Sunshine (she's in the middle).

Day #4, started a lot like Day #3, but this time Adam and I had a couples massage, a thank you gift to us by a friend of Adam's. Which was very nice and a big surprise.
So here I am, watching the ocean roll, sipping fruit-infused water, playing with my hair and feeling very relaxed, for a second morning in a row! (Now that's a vacation!)

After our massage, we headed out to St. Maarten for some shopping. We went with Adam's manager, SenLy and her husband, Pat.
We had a great time finding so many of the things we love, artistic, cultural finds.
Here we are with the artist of these water colors. We bought these few treasures and are currently trying to find the perfect place in the house for them.

While we were there, we had lunch at one of the streetside restaurants which the locals call, Lolos. We had some cajun food, of all things.

SenLy and Pat, enjoying their mango daiquiri's.

Here's me and Adam - me feeling very hungry and not at all trusting what was going to come out of that kitchen (I'm funny that way...) -- So I look a little peaked.

again, a little unsure...

and me again, trying to keep it together.
But after "lunch", which for me turned out to be the rice they served and a powerbar that I had stashed in my purse and totally forgot about, I felt a lot better. Phew... cause a 20 minute boat ride in the heat to go back to the hotel did not appeal to me, either.
So we shopped some more.

And felt right at home when we saw a "Forever 21" --
(Cassidy, that one is especially for you!)

And on the way back, a rainbow or two chased us out of St. Maarten. The rain threatened us the whole way back, but seeing the vibrant colors (which can't be captured in entirety) we were able to see the beauty instead of the grey.

Adam took this one of our room.

After an amazing dinner off the hotel grounds, we went back to the bar area at the resort.

Our last night - you can see Adam and I behind a couple of the columns.
During the day, this walkway framed an ocean view at the end.
