introductions

norah has been on the path of self-awareness. she knows her name, she knows when she should introduce herself and she knows you'll think she is sooo cute when she does it!
the other night adam and i went out to dinner for a friend's birthday. so we had a babysitter come over to watch the kids. we've had the same babysitter for a few months now, but when she came in norah walked up to her and said,
HI! I NO-WAH (norah)!
and, pointing to grace she says, GWACIE (gracie)!
and then walks into my bedroom where jayden is, but the babysitter can't see him, and says, JAYNEN (jayden)! this, of course, made the babysitter laugh and made adam so proud of his cute little girl (ok, i'm pretty proud too - or i wouldn't be writing this!!).

then at church the next morning, she walks into the check-in area and says, HI! I NO-WAH! which makes everyone smile and laugh and say, ohhhhh.... how cute!

and again today, at the park. there were lots of kids out today (the sun finally came back after a few days of cold and rain). and there, under the slide, she says, HI! I NO-WAH! which makes the 5th graders there all melt and adopt her for the afternoon.
