jay's bday!

we had an awesome day of birthday fun. we went to the movies, we had pizza, we went to the arcade... and the cake! a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting. my mom and dad were here and nana stayed just for this day and the rocha's came to celebrate with us!









it's so hard to believe jay is 8! let me just say, he is the sweetest, funniest, smartest and handsomest kid i know! today he shared his birthday money with his sisters - really he did. he bought a wii game that was less expensive so grace and norah could have a princess wii game. no one asked him to, no one bribed him to. he just did it.
he loves star wars, video games, school, and lego's.
i remember most everything about the day he was born, and the days leading up to it. i remember how much i wanted him and loved him, and how much i still do.
he is so much a part of me, that i can't remember my life without him.
i'm so thankful for my little boy.
