so the first day of second grade went off without a hitch... he got up, he ate, he brushed and before we knew it we were off to school. it was so busy! at his school there are going to be 9 (9!) kindergarten classes, 9 (9!) first grade classes and 9 (9!) second grade classes. i think he recognized one little girl in his class today. his teacher, Mrs. Witte (pronounced Witty) seems so nice (and organized, yay!!) and i am praying this year is his favorite year yet...
