first of all, our kids all love to swim. at the pool this weekend, grace figured out how much fun it is to jump into the water (with her swim vest on, of course) and hang out by herself in the pool. she put her head under water and everything! jayden is already a fish, and has goggles permanently attached to his face. norah is made from the same mold. yesterday we had to physically restrain her from squirming out of our arms. she jumps in (yeah, scary), she goes back and forth between adam and i, underwater! she holds her breath and jumps from my arms to adam's.
last night we had a babysitter come and watch the kids so that adam and i could get a night out with thomas and tiffany, without kids! (yeah, i know!!) her name is jessica and grace started calling her jessiKIA! it was so cute...
on that note, grace has her own little language. try and figure these words out:
panpink
beesonya
libaless (this is a name)
and norah is starting her own. try and figure these ones too:
barbie
ha-ha
peas
jayden lost another tooth last week. that makes 5. check out his blog for pics... and together we sip root beer floats when the girls are asleep. last night he talked the babysitter into letting him sleep on the couch. (we told her she got played - but it is totally fine, and funny) i picked him up to put him in his own bed (yeah, that was crazy) and the kid is huge! he's long and heavy! then i had this thought, where did my baby go? and then it occurred to me that my nephew micah turned 8 yesterday! 8! and soon jay will be 8, too! i love how life just gets away from you - and somehow all the hard stuff doesn't seem as hard, and how all of the good things just hang around and fill your heart with memories of him falling asleep in your arms, instead of the couch.
here's another totally random story (i don't tell random stories like this much, so i figured you'll forgive me). the other night i had a bad dream. i was dreaming that we were asleep at a hotel and someone was coming in to "get" adam. i couldn't reach him to wake him up, so i figured (in my dream state) if i started yelling, he would wake up. so i started yelling, "help me! help me! no!" in real life i have a feeling it sounded more like, "moannnnn... moaannnn...." adam woke me up and said, "you're having a bad dream." he turned over and started snoring again. while i, on the other hand was still a little shaky from the dream and couldn't fall asleep right away. so the whole next day i am thinking about this dream and how rudely i was awakened. he didn't even ask me what i was dreaming! and to think, i was trying to save him in my dream! that night when we were headed to bed, i told him that i had decided that i would never try to save him in my dreams again unless i saw some real change! i think he was snoring before i could even finish the sentence. oh well...
so that's it. for now :) talk to you later.

I love your random thoughts.
I understand about, "where did my baby go?" I think that as well when I look at my beautiful daughters..Dad and I too a buggy ride to the mountains on Sunday. We drove through some of the parks that we camped at when you kids were little. I said to dad, "we had some good times camping here with the girls'", he agreed. They do grow up way toooooo fast.
I could not begin to translate what the girls are saying...if you figure it out, let us all know.
That Jay, what will he think of next??? Sleeping on the couch?? Love you all and miss you soooo much.Love, Mom
I'm gonna take a wild stab at this....
panpink = pancake
beesonya - lasagna
I don't have a clue on the rest. It's been along time since I spoke that stuff.
