On the Saturday we were there, the LOGIX crew held a sailing regatta. Some of the group learned to sail and then they set them loose out in the ocean. I opted to take pictures on the party pontoon, where there was food and drinks ;)
Adam and his friend Andrew dressed as pirates to show their team spirit. Don't be hating, but i was sitting on the beach at this moment -- sipping a pina colada, soaking up a few rays before the clouds rolled in.
Their team actually sailed - i know, huh?
they were in first place for most of the race - but somehow could not figure out how to make a turn around a buoy.
one night we took a sunset cruise around the bay. it would have been lovely if we had left on time, and if we could have acutally seen the sun setting through the clouds :) i'm not complaining, everything is on island time when your here. someone should have just told the sun that...
i don't know who this goofy couple is...
some friends i made on the trip -- and that's a rum and diet coke in my hand...
and all of a sudden, a gust of wind would come up, and we'd all look like this!
On Monday -- we took an excursion to do some snorkeling, have a bbq lunch on a boat, check out The Bath's, and do some shopping in a little town outside our resort.
It was an amazing day - definitely my favorite of the whole trip.
At one point Adam and his friend got this great idea to jump off the top of the boat into the water. They only did it once - cause the crew kinda freaked out.
but, yes - that's the ocean's blue, not a chlorinated pool -- nice, huh?
