Health Museum with Mommies

Last weekend, while Adam was in Park City with Josh, Michelle and I spent Saturday playing around Houston... We were going to head to the zoo, but I think everyone in H-town had the same idea. So we thought we'd head over to the Health Museum and check out the BIG BUG EXHIBIT.

Mason and Grace, pretending like they are the giant fighting beetles...

I have no idea what this was supposed to be, but Norah loved it!! She stayed there for such a long time, just pushing the button, over and over...

Megan and Jay built the 3D ant - Jayden almost got eaten by it!

and Michelle, ever the patient teacher, showing the girls all of the dead critters in the case

Grace took this picture of me with my favorite bug! The butterfly!

Mason, showing Grace the pincher!

ok, the grossest movie I have ever seen - and the scariest for Grace! Tt was called Planet YOU! and it showed all of the lovely bugs that live on your body. Nice, huh? It scared Grace so badly, Michelle had to rush her out! Oh yeah, it was all in 3D!

After the Health Museum, we went back to Memorial Hermann Park, to ride the train. Um, did you know that people actually wait in lines as long as an hour? To ride this little train? Well, we didn't. But we had to buy ice cream for the kids to make up for it!!

That movie sounds horrible, I am with Grace on wanting to leave:) Glad that some icecream saved the day. 1 hour, that is crazy!

You're brave visiting a bug museum! I don't think I could do that.
