The Busch Family...

a few things happened today.

1. jayden tried to forge my signature today. he received a not-so-great mark on his behavior chart and when he came home he said, mom - you don't need to sign it. i already did it for you... when i checked the folder, there it was... my initials, in cursive and everything. when adam called his mom to check with her on how old he was when he first started to get into "big" trouble, she asked why. he told her what jay did and her response? "that's so creative of him!" adam's response to that? "jeesh, you know your a grandparent when your grandkid forges a signature and it's creative, but when i did the same thing, it was lying and cheating." she laughed and said, "it's funny how different it looks on this end."
2. the same little boy tucked his sister into bed tonight. when it was bed time, he asked grace if she would like him to pray for her tonight. she said, sure! so he held her hand all the way to her room, helped her into bed and prayed that she would have good dreams, and no bad dreams.
3. adam fell asleep on the couch at 8:30 tonight. he's snoring already. what a life we lead. that's ok, we're watching something on discovery channel about a giant squid and if i weren't writing this i would probably be asleep, too. but i don't snore.
   
4. norah climbed up the play structure at our friends house. she got up to the second rung before i could reach her. is this possible, already?
   
5. norah also loves shoes, just like her big sister. we have a bag of shoes that tiffany let us borrow and she brings them to me to put on her. the thing is, she brings me the matching pair. is this possible, already?
6. adam is snoring really loud. i wish i felt like getting up to record it and let you all hear this beautiful song i fall asleep to each and every night. sigh.
7. in the car today, jayden coughed - he has a cold. grace said, god bless you! he said, i didn't sneeze, i coughed. grace said, oh, are you alright, then? he said, yeah, sniffle and coughed again. and norah echoed it with her own fake cough. (this story isn't that cute in writing, but i'm keeping it because i want you all to know that we really can have a quiet, nice, thoughtful ride to wherever, once in awhile.)
