first day of first grade

Well with sad hearts our little boy has taken the next step in his life, 1st grade!! Today was officially the end of Summer as Jayden headed to his new school. He of course is super excited. Thanks to Nana and John for some spending money for new clothes as he is sporting some new shoes and a new shirt.

Here he is standing in front of his new class. Let's see how many girl friends he has the first day. The over-under is 3.


And of course now the girls are free from their brother for the entire day. Grace is excited! She did however stand at Jayden's class door and yell "Bye, Jay Jay! Bye, Jay Jay!"

Jayden's hair looks so cute! From being a teacher, I can tell that his classroom looks very organized! Hope he has a great first week in first grade!
