My Mom's Birthday Party

As many of you know, my mom turned 60 last week. My dad, sisters and I threw a big bash, the likes of which Mentone has never seen! (I'm not kidding!) Adam brought up a couple of rolls of turf and laid it out on the dirt driveway. We had rented some awnings, tables and chairs and has some pretty delicious food and cake!

JoAnna, me and Norah probably waiting for the caterer! They showed up late. We hired this company that comes to the site and makes the food there. We had chicken, carne asada, spicy pork and carnitas with rice and beans, and all of the fixin's. It was really, really good, but almost 2 hours late! Needless to say, we were sweating that they wouldn't show up at all!

Okay, I know my little girl is so cute. I am totally secure in the fact that she is the cutest thing ever... But she is shadowed by my beautiful sister April in this picture. I can hear John Shumate saying how much they look alike!
