Grace had 2 "firsts" today. She was playing with one of Jayden's Star Wars toys and singing, "Dum dum dum dum dee dum dum dee dum..." (In case you need a translation, it's Darth Vader's music.)
Then, later, the kids and I were cleaning their room and we had Norah in her car seat just sitting in there to keep her close. I looked over and Grace was sitting next to Norah 'reading' her books. She would say, "You want book? Yeah? Ohhkay." In her little voice, it was more like, "OOO wah ook? Yeah? Ohhkay."

Isn't that little voice the best ever? I realize that it would ridiculous for kids to walk around in 12 year old bodies with their 2 year old voices but I still wish just a little that the 2 year old voice would never leave.
she's already such a good big sister...
