Yesterday Adam, Jayden and I got to see our new baby through an ultrasound. Jayden has been excited to have this baby come and we thought it would be cool for him to experience this. Naturally, along with this visit came questions of, how does the baby eat? and how does the baby come out? He asked if the baby will come out of my mouth... (something my nephew Jonah asked his mom and dad about the baby coming soon to their family) we tried not to laugh and just showed him the picture on the wall of a baby in the womb and a small part of the birth canal - his response was, that's so small! Uh, yah....
When I picked up Jay from school today his teacher told me that Jayden was telling some of his friends that he got to see "his baby" yesterday at the doctors. It made me smile.
