Girls do talk more!

Grace's words now include:
"Oh, Tootles!" (from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse)
"Wow! Cool!"
"Pac (pacifier) please."
"Polka, Polka Dot!" (A tickle game Jayden and I started playing with her when she first started to laugh.)
When we ask her if she wants the finger or the claw, she tell us which one she wants. (Another tickle game we got from a movie.)
She will say and point out her eyes, nose, mouth, hair and ears.

She will take her stuffed animals out and tell them all of the words she knows - she repeats them over and over. Mama, mama, mama, dada, dada, dada, jayden, jayden, jayden, no no no, bye bye bye. She'll sit and do it for 15 minutes or more, just repeating. She has started to try and feed them apple slices and once went to the diaper basket and tried to put a diaper on her baby.

She also loves music and songs. Part of me wonders if what she is actually singing to her dolls, rather than talking to them. She will clap, stomp and shout along with us when we sing, "If your happy and you know it..." and she does the motions to "Your face will really show it". She loves "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," (of course she does, it is a classic) and "The itsy, bitsy spider."

She and Jay play so well together. When they are wrestling on the ground or when she sits on him to get his attention, they will just start belly laughing together. I think of the verse, "My cup runneth over." I am so thankful for those moments.
