Here are some funny things Jayden has been saying:

A conversation with a little girl (Ashley) at story time:
Ashley: My mom is buying me this book!
Jayden: Oh.
Ashley: Is your mom buying you a book?
Jayden: No, not today.
Ashley: How come?
Jayden: 'Cause she said so.
(First of all, he never even asked me to buy a book that day. And second, my answer probably would have been very close to what he said.)

Jonah and Ava (my nephew and niece) are coming to visit! This is what Jayden said:
Mom! Jonah is coming? I really miss him. Woo-hooo!!!
(A pause)
Mom! Jonah and Ava get to see my baby now! They haven't seen her, and she is getting so big!

We went to The Wild Animal Park today with my sis JoAnna, bro-in-law Big John, niece Sarah, nephews Micah and Seth. On the way home:
Jayden: Mom, can you please call Jo, I forgot to say something.
Me: No, Jayden. We just left them.
Jayden: But mom, I really forgot to say something to them.
(I think, ok, what's the harm, really? So I call:)
Jayden: Can I talk to Micah?
Micah: HELLO? (I could hear him answer!)
Jayden: I forgot to tell you something.
Silence.
Jayden: I FORGOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!
Micah: What?
Jayden: I love you.
