Jayden's Latest
Recently Jayden has been talking so sweetly to Grace. He'll snuggle up to her and say things like, "I love you soo much, Grace," or "Your the cutest little girl in the world, yes, you are!" Immediately following each of these statements, however, he will turn to me and say, "Don't tell your sisters I said that, ok, Mom?" I'll say, "Who are my sisters?" He'll proceed to tell me my sister's names. It makes me laugh and, of course, I have told my sisters!

You know how brides go all over town searching for the perfect wedding cake – well, Jayden seems to be on a similar search for the perfect cookie to leave for Santa.
Jayden and Grace were at our house last night while Adam and Jamie went to a Christmas party. You may know I’m not much of a sweets person so I always need to remind myself to get a sweet snack for Jayden when he is going to be at my house. Well, last night I got plain old Nilla Wafers. As Jayden was eating them he said, “Nana, these are really good.” Then a few minutes later he said, “Nana, can I borrow these?” I asked him what he meant, did he mean that he wanted to take some cookies home. He said, “Yes, I think Santa would really like these cookies, I’d like to leave them under the tree for him.”
How can you not crack up!!
